Explode a report from a legacy system into individual PDFs, then save or email the PDFs automatically using pdfMachine ultimate
Legacy systems often print large batches/reports which would be more useful if they were individual PDFs. These reports can be easily split and actioned (eg emailed, saved) as the print job is performed.
Enable pdfMachine parameter parsing. Place the pdfMachine parameter parsing commands into the report. Print the report to the pdfMachine printer.
With parameter parsing, as the document is printed, the text can invoke pdfMachine functions. The parameter text can be removed from the final PDF.
The PDF can be automatically emailed to the customer email address, the company letterhead can be added as stationery, the file can be split into multiple PDFs, and many other functions are available.
