You’ve got a 30-page contract and you need to slip a 5-page schedule between sections 3 and 4. Auto-append, drag-and-drop, scan-append — they all send new pages to the end. pdfMachine’s File menu lets you put them exactly where you point.
Pick a page first.
Click a page in the thumbnails — that’s your anchor. Whatever you append or insert next will land relative to it.
Append puts it after.
File → Append PDF drops the new pages immediately after your selected page. Pick page 3, append a 5-pager, and your old page 4 becomes page 9.
Insert puts it before.
File → Insert PDF drops the new pages immediately before the selected page. Useful for cover sheets, prepended sections, or anything that needs to lead the document.
Other combining methods send pages to the end. This one lands them where you point.
Where you pick. Where it lands.
